For those attending BOTH the Women’s Gathering and Joint Conference, please be sure to make separate reservations at the Marriott-Louisville East. Also, request to remain in the same room.

Refund Policy: 

All refund requests must be submitted via email to nbsc@nbsc68.org and must be received no later than 20 days before the start of the Joint Conference on July 28, 2024.

 

There are no refunds for no-shows.

Substitutions are NOT allowed.

Health and Wellness Tips for Safe Travel and Safety during our Joint Conference

We would like you to know that we will be there to assist you with your health concerns, but we will not be able to treat you during the Joint Conference.

We recommend following these steps to keep everyone safe during the Joint Conference. As you prepare to travel, please keep these safety tips in mind.

  1. Pace yourself as you pack to get ready to travel.

  2. Keep to your schedule/routine and keep your doctors’ appointments.

  3. Call the pharmacy and ensure that you have your medications refilled.

Please bring these things with you:

  1. A list of your medications.

  2. Your medications for headaches, pain, Hypertension, Insomnia, Diabetes, Thyroid Disease, etc.

  3. A list of your doctor’s contact information, their names and numbers, and Tel-a-doctor if you have one.

  4. All your insurance cards.

  5. Be ready to provide the name and number of your emergency contact to use in an emergency.

  6. Bring all your equipment/s needed: Your Blood Sugar Monitor kit, Blood Pressure kit,

  7. Wheelchair, Walker, Cane, Eyeglasses, hearing aids, batteries, neck pillow, compression socks, and other specialized equipment.

While you are at the Conference:

  1. In case of any emergency, please call for help promptly.

  2. An Emergency Contact number will be provided for you to call.

  3. When calling, please be specific: Give your full name, your emergency/the reason for your

  4. call and your location, such as your room number, corridor, dining room, etc.

  5. The names and locations of the nearest Urgent Care, Hospital, and pharmacy will be provided

  6. nearer to the time of your arrival.
